Ted Hansen wrote a lot of music. We have thousands of hours of recordings of his compositions from various recitals, guest performances, studio recordings, performances by various artists, symphonies, etc. These include recordings of various bands he directed or conducted during his 60 years of writing, conducting and teaching. Most of the music exists in various formats and we are in the processing of converting them to a digital format. So check back soon as we continue to post new recordings to this page.

Note from Kurt: The tape for this performance is over 51 years old and it had decayed considerably due to humidity and temperature. In addition, the music was recorded with a single microphone on a reel-to-reel tape deck and unfortunately the operator had the input level too hot so there is some overload and distortion. After 15+ hours of digital reconstruction, I've been able to bring back most of the performance with as little distortion as possible. Enjoy!
