Welcome to the Theodore Hansen Memorial Website. "Ted" was my father, friend and mentor. He was passionate about teaching, composing and playing the piano and he impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world. After a long battle with cancer, he passed quietly and peacefully at his home in Greenville, Texas. He was 83 years old. My mother, brother and I were fortunate to be at his side the last 6 weeks of his life and he shared wonderful stories about his students, friends, colleagues, family and his life travels. Although he's gone now, his passion and message continues every day through the lives of those he inspired. We welcome your comments and stories on this site and we hope that it will help all of us remember an amazing man. Ted is survived by my mother Roberta, my brother Kerry and myself.
